Elegant 17-18th century Cotswold manor house set in beautiful, peaceful gardens.

With spacious reception rooms and fine cuisine we are well suited for small conferences, meetings and entertaining. Picturesque setting for weddings. Marquee available for larger events.

Ideally situated on the edge of the Cotswolds, Swindon 12 miles, Cirencester 10 miles. (Paddington to Swindon 50 minutes.) Easy access to M4 and M5, as well as to Cotswold tourist sites such as Burford, Bibury, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-water, Cirencester. Oxford is 24 miles. Many famous gardens (Hidcote, Sezincote, Kiftsgate, Barnsley House) are within easy reach. The Thames Path is only 2km away.

The Manor has its own cricket field. During the cricket season you can watch a game from your bedroom or from the garden! Sports facilities in the vicinity are: horse riding, tennis, swimming, water sports (at the Cotswold Water Parks) and joining organised walks.

A number of courses take place at the Manor from time to time: Butler's School, Painting and Drawing, Music Workshop, Etiquette and Speech.

Rooms are available for short term visitors, Bed and Breakfast, with or without dinner.

Weddings at Kempsford Manor

Wedding receptions at Kempsford Manor usually take place in a marquee in our grounds. Our gardens provide an attractive setting and, when the trees and statues are lit up, look very romantic.

Our fee for giving venue is between £800-850, depending on the number of guests and the size of the marquee. This fee includes car parking within our private grounds.

Once you have decided on Kempsford Manor as the venue for your wedding reception we can introduce you to marquee companies we work with, or you may wish to appoint your own. Their cost will depend on what you require: the type of flooring, seating, lighting etc. We can also introduce you to caterers and help you in all the other details of your reception.

Kempsford Manor has a number of rooms where guests can stay on a Bed and Breakfast basis. The price is normally £30-35 per person. If you have more guests wishing to stay in the village we can find accommodation for them.
